Delivery Policy – We aim to deliver your purchase within 3 working days although most items go out on next working day carrier. Lighter items are sent by Royal Mail. Purchases from more remote parts of the UK or overseas are dealt with separately and we will contact you with details.
Returns Policy
Our returns policy is valid for 28 days from receipt of an item.

Returns authorisation
Before returning any item please E Mail us 'I would like to return an item' - Describe with Order number. We will email you a returns authorisation number along with details on how and where to send your return. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number.

Packing the item
Wrap the item securely and include the invoice along with your returns authorisation email. Usually the packaging in which the item was sent can be used for its return.

Replacement or refund
We will ask you if you would like us to replace the item (provided it is still available) or refund your card.
Returning an unwanted item
You may return any unopened item within 7 days of receiving it, for a full refund. We will refund your card once we have received and processed the item.
- We will only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.
- We cannot refund or exchange an opened item unless it is faulty, or if the item was sent to you through our error.
Please follow our returns procedure as explained above.
How we test returned items
We test every single return. If a returned item is found not to be faulty by our independent test centre we will return the item to you and you will be liable for the postage. This will not exceed £2.00 for DVDs, CDs and video games. Postage costs for electronics and gadgets will depend on the item.
We advise you to check any DVD, CD or video game on a second machine and to check any gadget and its instructions carefully before returning it. We will not refund postage for items found to be in good working order.
We are not responsible for incompatibilities caused by DVD players that have been modified to disable regional encoding
Cancellation Policy – Cancellations are accepted up to the point of despatch. Please assume that stock items will be despatched within 24 hrs of your order. If the item has been despatched you decide to cancel please note you are responsible for the safe return of the unopened goods with 7 days or the cancellation will not be accepted.
Privacy Policy – The security of your data is of the utmost importance to us. To this end and for your peace of mind, we use 128 bit encrypted servers for all orders. All financial data when authorised for payment is destroyed. Any financial data received by phone, fax or letter will be shredded when payment is authorised.
WEEE Regulations:
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
· Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
· Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Bluefishshop Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new Camcorder from us we would accept their old Camcorder and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Please note that return carriage for the item is to be paid by the sender. All packages must be rigorously packaged. Any item found not to be so will be returned. If any returned items which subsequently cause harm, distress, physical or mental damage or monetary loss due to any defect in the item or packaging we will pursue a legal course of action against the sender for full reparation and legal costs.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
